Dancing with the Vernon Stars Call for Dancers for 2018 Event
We fulfill peoples’ dreams of being a “star” on this special night of enchantment!

November 28, 2017 (Vernon, BC) – Have you always wanted to dance AND support a local charity? The North Okanagan Hospice Society’s signature annual event, Dancing with the Vernon Stars, is looking for dancers for its 2018 event! 

Each dance couple will receive complimentary dance lessons between March and September from professional dance coaches plus they will be part of the DWTVS Launch Party and have the opportunity to showcase their choreography in front of hundreds of people at the Gala.

Leading up to the big show on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the Vernon Lodge and Conference Centre, each dance couple is tasked with raising $5,000 for the North Okanagan Hospice Society!

• We operate Hospice House, a 12-bed palliative care facility in Vernon.
• We provide pain and symptom management admissions to palliative patients for one or two weeks.
• We offer a community grief and bereavement program to anyone dealing with the loss of a loved one.
