North Okanagan Hospice Society is a leader in providing
palliative care and end-of-life counselling services. We invite interested
residents of the North Okanagan to submit a letter of interest and summary of
your relevant experience in serving as a volunteer Board director.
Our team of professionals and volunteers have an outstanding
record of service delivery both within our twelve bed hospice house and with
numerous regional outreach programs.
The communities we serve throughout the North Okanagan are
diverse and unique. It is this uniqueness and diversity that we are seeking in
our volunteer Board. We look forward to learning of your expertise and
experience and how they could complement the Board’s effort to ensure the long
term viability of hospice services in our region.
Your interest in the continuum of care relating to end-of-life
is important and we would welcome your expression of interest to serve by
submitting a brief letter and summary of your relevant experience or if more
convenient for you, a brief letter and resume.
Your commitment of time will vary and be perhaps 10 hours per
month, but your potential impact in helping to build on the success of hospice
services in the North Okanagan will be significant and invaluable.
