NOHS receives donation from Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 25 to purchase air purifier
Vernon, BC (September 30, 2021) – On September 29, 2021, North Okanagan Hospice Society was pleased to be the recipient of a donation from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No 25 in Vernon in the amount of $6,159.99. This donation came from the proceeds raised through the Legion’s annual Poppy Fund campaign.
NOHS will use this donation money to purchase a Sol-Air Purifier system for Hospice House. This purifier reduces airborne and surface contaminants, purifies the air and surfaces and reduces odors and protects from recontamination as people enter and move around the area where it is located.
Our Executive Director, Lisa Matthews, was proud to accept a cheque from President, Bill Balcaen.
Thank you to everyone at the Legion for all they do for our community and for their continued support of NOHS.
