Rebecca Barton is half of Beach Mornings with Brian & Rebecca at 107-5 Beach Radio. She’s been in radio for over 20 years and is grateful for the opportunity to help promote local charities and businesses through her work. She volunteered with the North Okanagan Hospice Society after her brother passed away and was in awe of the kindness and compassion she saw from all of the staff and volunteers. Rebecca is also an advocate for Dying with Dignity Canada. She believes the North Okanagan Hospice Society is an integral service in our community and is thrilled to be able to take part in DWTVS with her daughter, Sophia.

Sophia Barton is a grade 11 student (in September) at Seaton Secondary high school. She plans to pursue a career in medicine, so she is very excited to help fundraise for the North Okanagan Hospice Society. Sophia has been in dance lessons since the age of three and is currently a competitive dancer with Accentz Dance Studio. After graduation, she plans to dance professionally as a commercial dancer.  She is also a loving cat mom to her ragdoll kittens, Coco and Chanel.
