Please meet our dancers, Stefan & Katie Schneider. Proud third generation business owners , of their family run & operated glass business, H&L Glass. As active community members and having been operating for over 55 years, they are always sponsoring, donating and supporting their community whenever possible. They have been married for 11 years and have two beautiful children; their son Rhett who is 3 years old and their daughter, Kinsley who is 17 months old. They met over 15 years ago, when Stefan was playing in the WHL for the Portland Winterhawks. Stefan’s hockey career then led him to play professionally for three years and gave them the opportunity to travel North America. Having this opportunity they still felt that Vernon was always home for them. When the opportunity came about to join the DWTS, they were honoured and very excited to continue to support their community. The Hospice House holds a special place in the Schneider family; having had Stefan’s uncle spend his last moments there. Stefan and Katie are looking forward to the coming months to continue to connect with the Vernon community and have some fun along the way!
