Aaron Volpatti is the Author of Fighter- Defying The NHL Odds, a Cognitive Performance Coach, Speaker, retired NHL player, burn survivor, and a graduate from Brown University- B.Sc Human Biology.

Born and raised in Revelstoke, British Columbia, he is a guitar aficionado and wannabe rockstar. He’s a professional dabbler—spending his free time fishing, hunting, camping, golfing, playing squash, or learning a new musical instrument or language.

Aaron resides in Vernon with his wife Michelle and two sons. Michelle is also his dance partner, and a big reason as to why he is participating in Dancing with the Vernon Stars- he doesn’t take her dancing enough. Another important factor in his decision to participate was the recent loss of his father. His battle with ALS provided a new appreciation into the importance of home care and support in Hospice and other care centers.
