DANCING WITH THE VERNON STARS 2018 CALL FOR DANCE COACHES
Are you a professional dance coach? Do you have an interest in sharing that talent with the community?

 
November 10, 2017 (Vernon, BC) – North Okanagan Hospice Society is seeking expressions of interest from professional dance coaches who would like to participate in our Dancing with the Vernon Stars 2018 fundraiser. This gala evening is a marquee fundraiser for Hospice with net proceeds being used to support end-of-life care services provided by Hospice.

We have begun organizing the 11^th Annual Dancing with the Vernon Stars 2018 which will be held on September 28, 2018.  Integral components of the successful event are the dance coaches and dance couples. We are looking for dance coaches who can choreograph exciting and creative routines, and demonstrate enthusiasm and positive energy as they share their passion for dance.

An important consideration in our coach selection process is that we rely on the assistance of our coaches to bring forward names of individuals/couples who will learn their dance routine and commit to fundraise for Hospice.

This past season showcased ten celebrity dance couples with big hearts and a drive to raise funds for NOHS. It was a record year resulting in over $134,000 in net proceeds and a sell-out event of 450 people in attendance.
