North Okanagan Hospice Society is a leader in providing
palliative care and counselling services. Our team of professionals and
volunteers has an outstanding record of service delivery both within our twelve
bed hospice house and with numerous regional outreach programs.
The communities we serve are diverse and unique and we seek to
reflect this diversity on our volunteer Board.
We invite interested residents of the North Okanagan to submit
an expression of interest in a brief letter and resume (or summary of your
relevant experience) and how you could complement the Board’s effort to ensure
the long term viability of hospice services in our region. We require one Board
member with financial expertise, so if you have that expertise we ask that you
specify so.
Your commitment of time will vary and be perhaps 10 hours per
month, but your potential impact in helping to build on the success of hospice
services in the North Okanagan will be significant and invaluable.
