NOHS 50/50 Butterfly Raffle Winner Announced

Vernon, BC (October 1, 2021) – North Okanagan Hospice Society’s 50/50 Butterfly Raffle ended on Friday, October 1, 2021 after raising $33,980, with the winner receiving a jackpot of $16,980. Jacqueline Rivard from the Kalamalka Rotary Club had the winning ticket.

Jacqueline said that she bought tickets after having Lisa Matthews, the Executive Director of NOHS, presented to the Rotary last month, sharing all the work NOHS does and the challenges they have faced over the past 18 months, including the loss of 75% of our volunteers. She challenged her fellow Rotarians to match her ticket purchase after the meeting. She said she was happy to support the Hospice and all the good work they do for the community.

Jaqueline donated $1,000 of her winnings back to NOHS, and Hospice would like to thank her for her generous donation.

NOHS would also like to thank all of those who have participated in this Butterfly 50/50 draw and their support of NOHS in making this raffle such a big success.
